We run two MA courses within the School of Fine Art at UCA Canterbury: MA Fine Art and MA Curatorial Practice. Both courses run alongside each other and create a perfect opportunity for developing artistic and curatorial research as counter-points to each other.
At the heart of both courses is the context of community, particularly the idea of practical critical engagement outside the university. Our partnerships with Turner Contemporary, the Creative Foundation and a host of arts organisations in East Kent offer a unique opportunity for developing practice in this way, with our student successes testament to the value of our work with these partners.
In the great tradition of British art schools, our Canterbury campus of UCA offers an expanse of technical resources to support the development of individual practice and research. For more information about our facilities click here.
