The MA Work in Progress Show

MA Fine Art and Curatorial Practice, UCA Canterbury

Fine artists and curators from UCA Canterbury’s postgraduate courses took over five spaces in Tontine Street, Folkestone for one night only. The MA Work in Progress Show was an opportunity for the students to test out the presentation of their practice in a gallery context. This interim group show exhibited the development of the students’ creative practice, which demonstrated the students’ interest in taking risks, exploring and developing their interests in visual form. The MA Work in Progress Show featured the work of 40 students who come from culturally diverse backgrounds, which makes for varied and stimulating exhibitions. Each MA artist had valuable feedback from the tutors and external artists regarding their work and curatorial input.
